My Beast....

So, I was tagged by Cort to tell a little bit about my hubby!! This pic was taken in Bermuda in 2006 when we went there....I think his eyes are closed, but I don't get very many pics of him as he avoids me when I have the camera!! Anyways, here goes....

What is his name? Brandon Lorin Pence

How long have we been married? 13 years, 4 months, and 2 weeks

How long did we date? Almost exactly 1 year (we were speedy)

How old is he? 32, almost 33 HA HA HA HA (I am younger)

Who eats more sweets? Def him!! That boy can put away candy and ice cream like you wouldn't believe!!

Who said "I love you first"? He did, of course.

Who is taller? He is by a whole 2 1/2 inches

Who can sing better? Oh for sure ME!! I am the next american idol!!!

Who is smarter? HE is...loser

Who does the laundry? It's a team effort, with 5 kids it is hard for it to be a one person job!!

Who pays the bills? He does, I spend he pays...isn't that how it's suppose to work?

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? This question totally throws me off...are you laying down in it when figuring this out or are you standing in front of it? That changes the answer!!

Who mows the lawn? He does, and sometimes he makes Riley do it!

Who cooks dinner? Again a team effort...there are some things I can cook better and there are some things he can cook better.

Who drives? Oh that is funny...he does!! He wonders why I even have a license....I did drive on the California freeway though recently...WOO HOO talk about a rush!!

Who is more stubborn? I say he is, he says I am...does that answer it for you?

Who kissed who first? I will admit, I made the first move...but he readily accepted it!!

Who asked out who? He asked me out...I had a boyfriend!! HA HA (of course he asked me out after I kissed him...must have been a great kisser huh??)

Who proposed to who? Nobody, it was just meant to be...we just ended up hitched one morning!!

Who has more siblings? Uh, he does....he has more than double what I have (me 3, him 7)

Who wears the pants? I wear the pants.........when he lets me.....and sometimes he wears the skirt when I let him!!

I'm back....

Hey all, I'm home!! I'm really not as excited as it sounds....I came from 75 degree weather, sunshine, capris, flip flops......to, BRRR it is freaking cold, snow boots, jeans, and sweaters!! It was a great trip, Cort and I had a blast (we did not take any pictures of us though, but I promise we had fun!!) chasing around California....shopping, eating, and just hanging out!! By the way any of you who have not seen Cort in awhile....she looks amazing!!
Evidentally Brandon did not update our blog (must have been too busy trying to keep his head above water as single daddy), so I will....Jen's game was more of a scrimmage as it was her team against her team...they are split into two teams for indoor. Jen, of course, still claims that HER team won!! Olyvia's team had a great game it sounds like...they played an all boys team and were tied 7-7 and at the last minute those dumb boys shot and scored! They are playing so well though!! We have Riley's game tonight so I will probably put a little blurb on here about him later!!
By the way...Cort wanted to let everyone know that her new fav song is "Islands in the stream" by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. So in honor of her, I have added that song to my playlist!!

It's all about the RILEY!!!

Can you say future Ronaldinho?? This boy can score!! He put in another 2 goals tonight!! As usual our team got it handed to us, but we played our hearts out!! They are playing state level teams....we are just a little ole' rec league who last spring decided to go competitive. Most of the teams we play have played together since they were 8, 9, 10 years old and are now 13, 14, and 15!! We will get there, we are learning to play as a team and are working hard to get better....but until then, there's RILEY!!!!

By the way, he hates this picture....I think it is soooo cute of him!! Congrats Ri!!! We will update our blog throughout the week as usual....check back for Jen's and Lyv's games!!

Updates....Updates....Updates.....

We finished the soccer week off well!! Jen scored 1 goal at her game and her team won their game on Thursday!! Olyvia's team looked so awesome....two touch passes, maradonnas....it was so fun to watch. They played an all boys team, and we dominated the entire game until some kid went and ate his Wheaties and then came back on and put in 3 goals in under 3 minutes (chump)!! But they still looked GREAT!!

Riley went to his first boy/girl party (oooohhhhh). It was supervised by wonderful parents who like kids I guess...(I would never attempt this)!! His "girlfriend", whom he is "going out with" was there (we have come to understand that "going out with" means that they never look at, talk to, or be near each other....personally I would like to see him "go out with" every girl!!).

We have been getting quite a snowstorm today and we are supposedly in for the second one to come in later tonight. Kids are hoping for a snowday....they hear all these rumors from their cousins in Idaho about "snowdays" and we have yet to see one!!

I will be leaving to go to Cort's in 3 days!! I am so excited!! Brandon on the other hand is maybe not so thrilled that I chose to go during Parent Teacher Conference time!! Hee Hee......
So, he will be the one to update the blog while I am gone since my blog seems to have fried Cort's computer...(oops sorry....maybe you should stop looking at it sooooo much...HA)!!
