Couldn't wait!!

I couldn't wait for the weekend to post....I was going to try to get through all the kids games before posting.
Riley scored 2 more goals at Monday's game!! He is playing so well!! Jensyn plays tonight and then Lyv plays on Friday night....her ankle is looking a lot better!! We will post after each game and let you know how things go....Riley and Jensyn are battling it out about who scores more often, so I expect Jen to put up some big numbers tonight!!
I am starting to feel much better, I have had 3 days with better than average energy and well-being!! I am hoping things are on the up and up now!! I am getting ready to go to California to see Cort and fam on the 6th of February....thinking some California sunshine will do me some good (I am dying to wear flip flops and capris!!). Hopefully I will have some fun pics to post after the trip.
Brandon is home for a while now, so that may have something to do with me feeling so good!! I hate when he is gone!! He had a good trip and accomplished what needed to be done!! He is going to go do the whole Parent Teacher Conferences for the kids while I am in California....hope everyone is doing well in school!! Hee Hee.....

Finished the week with.....

We finished the week with a sprained ankle. Lyv got hurt in her last game...too bad cuz she was playing amazing.....she did 2 maradonna's in her game and was just playing awesome!!! Her ankle is all swollen and she won't/can't put any weight on it. Poor girl!! Her team lost :( .

For all of you keeping track of B, he is in DC (my kids think it is somewhere to buy DC shoes....ha ha). He leaves at 6am Sunday and will be home Wednesday night.....another busy week as single mommy!!

Riley brought home his report card for this last term and he had all straight A's(again)......, what a smart boy!! Jen on the other hand may repeat 5th grade (just kidding), good thing she is cute!! Lyv is doing well in school (likes to read....one night she read longer than the 20 required minutes and Jen came in and said "Olyvia is still reading, tell her to stop, it's been 20 minutes!!"), as is Cash (very smart at math, he equates everything to money), and Hanna bean loves Kindergarten....who doesn't?!

Big week at our house......

Well, we have had a big week at our house (in soccer anyways....and we still have one kids game to go)!! As I said before, Riley scored 3 goals.....well, tonight Jensyn scored a goal!! A nice big kick from mid field!! Cash did 3 juggles, Olyvia got to 5 juggles!! We are just rockin'!! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the soccer term "juggle", it means to kick the ball with your foot/head/chest (anything but hands) over and over without it touching the ground!! It is amazing....some of the kids that are Riley's age can juggle the ball over a thousand times in a row!!

It has been cold here.....ranging between -11 and 0. I hear it has been colder in Idaho than here. BRRR!!!! I am sure Cort is outside in capris and flip flops....LUCKY!!!

We will keep you up to date on all the soccer scoring and juggling....and of course, they all remember being told at some point that we were going to pay them some outrageous amount of money for doing these things!! I am so sure that we ever promised a $20 toy for 3 juggles....liar, liar Cash!! HA HA

Riley scored 3 goals!!

RILEY ROCKS!!! Tonight he scored 3 goals out of 5 for his indoor soccer team!! They didn't win (they were playing against a state premier team.....who are AWESOME), but they held their own against them!! He seems to remember his dad promising BIG bucks if he scored, but we don't seem to recall the same deal. What do you think? This will be our next poll....."Should Riley get paid for his goals or not?". I will post in a minute.....

Also, it looks like our other poll ended with CASH winning by 1......he held out and he is sooooo excited and totally proud of himself for winning "naughtiest Pence"!! Did you notice there was not even a single vote for sweet little Olyvia?? She is definitely the "sweetest Pence"!! Running a close second behind Cash were Riley AND Jensyn (I voted Riley and still believe he should have won). And poor little Hanna got voted on only by her Daddy....he thinks she is by far the worst!! Thanks to all who voted....it was fun!!

I am also looking for an interactive map (if anyone knows where I can find one I would appreciate it) to play "WHERE IN THE WORLD IS BRANDON"!! Look for that soon!! If you are wondering, he is in New Orleans right now.....and he will be in DC next week.....and in New Jersey and Germany two weeks after that.....and then.....

Can you see it?? Right there on his forehead?? That is his first ZIT!! I thought it was great, so I am putting it on the blog!! He does not think it is as amazing as I do, but he is growing up....puberty is right around the corner!! WOO HOO!!

Oh where, Oh where has my scale gone....?

Ok, so B and I are having a little contest to see who can lose the most weight.....so far he is WAY ahead!! I keep trying to tell him how unfair that is and that it is actually harder for women to lose weight than for men to lose weight....of course he doesn't believe me, so if anyone finds medical evidence (a report or the like) that confirms my position, go ahead and email it to him....he will love to hear from you I am sure!!

Lyv's Baptism

This is Lyvvie on her "special day"....she looks absolutely beautiful in her white dress. She was so excited and nervous for her baptism. I think she was worried that her dad would hold her under water longer than necessary!! It was so nice to have so many people come down for her baptism....especially with the weather as bad as it was that day.

She is so excited to be in Activity Days now that she is 8 years old. She went for her first time last week and they learned manners (is Hanna too young to tag along??). Thanks to all of you who gave her the cute little gifts for her big day.....she loved all of them!!

I can't believe that in a little over a year Cash will be getting baptized.....our kids are growing up so fast!!

Good news, you have mono.....

Who's the lucky girl with mono?? I am, I am!! Last Tuesday we found out that I am NOT lazy....we were so excited!! Unfortunately, I do have mono. I blame B....he had mono first (several years ago, when we were young and first married).....oh, and whatever girl he kissed that gave it to him .....ha ha ha
Anyways, when I went to the doctor today to get all my test results (6 vials of blood for a simple mono test??) she told me that it is a severe case of mono as my spleen is swollen and my EBV levels are HIGH....it will be 3 months or more before I am feeling like myself again (Bob, I know you are hoping that I am never quite myself again.....but alas, I will be)!!
Just my luck......with all the things my kids have going on, I get a virus that makes me MORE tired than they do!! On the bright side, I will have some extra time to devote to getting our blog up and running!! I hope to get our new family pic on here and some pics from Christmas and Riley and Olyvia's birthdays and Olyvia's baptism.....(keep your fingers crossed)!!!

So, this is probably an ok place to start with a blog....I got looking thru the pictures on my computer and realized that ALL of our pictures are on B's computer!! He will need to transfer them to me if this blog is going to be cool.....

I have to admit, Cort you inspired me to create a blog. Yours is way cute and one day I hope to be as cool as you, so I should start with this!!

Here is a first day of school pic of the 4 younger kids....Riley leaves at 7:00 in the morning for school and that was just way toooooooo early for me to be up AND have a camera out for photos!! Riley is in 7th grade, Jensyn is in 5th grade, Olyvia is in 2nd grade, Cash is in 1st grade, and Hanna is in Kindergarten. I work at the Elementary school where the 4 younger kids go, I guess that way when the principal needs me when Cash is being Cash, then I am right there!!

I started the year at school going from class to class....then after a few weeks they decided that handing out crackers to 2nd graders was a waste of their money and my time and they put me into Kindergarten....and then I got mono.......
